About the Team:

You will be part of the Supply Chain and Planning Technology (SCPT) organization, working directly with the Engineering Manager and collaborating with peer engineers. Expect to work with global technology teams while building both digital and in-store platforms for consumers worldwide.

What You’ll Work On:

• Design & Develop: Build, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• Collaborate: Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Backend Development: Implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services (Java, Spring Boot, Python).
• Database Management: Work with SQL/NoSQL databases for efficient data handling.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Write and maintain unit and integration tests, ensuring reliable software delivery.
• CI/CD Integration: Contribute to automated pipelines for smooth deployment.
• Agile Methodologies: Actively participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Key Technical Skills:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills in Java, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Exposure to cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
• Familiarity with version control (Git, GitHub)
• Understanding of unit testing, TDD, and debugging practices
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Bonus: Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), or microservices architecture
